Is anyone else wondering what in the world is ‘ombre hair’?
I looked it up when Refinery 29 said this trend won’t go away. (on twitter) I had no idea what it was so i had to look it up:
“Ombré” literally means gradation in French, which refers to the dark-to-light fade of color that is used in the technique. Instead of color that starts at the root, darker roots blend into a lightened mid-shaft and end. Ombré can be either subtle, and natural, or more extreme, and dramatic.
